Cardinals Interested In Cano?

Here is a report from Brian Hoch a professional writer for the New York Yankees:
"The St. Louis Cardinals called the New York Yankees to inquire about the asking price for second baseman Robinson Cano, according to a report published Sunday in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The Yankees' response: Adam Wainwright."

I laughed when I read this, like myself the Yankees still think very highly of Robby Cano. The fact is that Cano is an extremely talented hitter and one off year isn't going to change that. He is a pure .300 hitter and will be a 25 plus homerun guy soon. If your question is if I am shocked by the Yankees demands? My response is no , not at all. Cano isn't going anywhere, Cardinals keep dreaming.
